Quality

The UAB works to acheive maximum quality in all its activities and in the different areas in which it participates. This is why different initiatives have been implemented and the University has been awarded official certificates for quality.

Assessments

		Library Service: The Test and Research Laboratory (LGAI) awarded the UAB Library Service the ISO 9001certificate (EC-423/00) for its quality system. Vila Universitària: The quality system of the services provided by the UAB halls of residence were certified as being in compliance with the UNE-EN-ISO-9002:1994 standards. School of Tourism and Hotel Management (EUTDH): In October 1999 the LGAI awarded the School the national and European UNE-EN ISO 9002 certification for quality. In 2003, the quality system was awarded the ISO 9001 certificate both for its teaching methods and its administration. L'EUTDH was the first university centre in the whole of Spain to be awarded this certificate.
