People with special needs

At UAB we understand the educational needs of students with disabilities and the importance of integrating into University. That is why we offer adaptation programmes and services which respond to these specific needs. Since the 2005/06 academic year students
in possession of a Certificate of Disability, issued or accredited by the Catalan Institute for Assistance and Social Services, do not pay enrolment fees for four-year degrees, EHEA degrees and official master's degrees according to the laws currently in force in Catalonia.

Programme for Students with Special Needs

This programme deals with the adaptations required to guarantee equal opportunities for studying. Its services include:
- Provision of an adapted vehicle.
- Adapting teaching, courses, techniques, material, urban environment and social environment.
