People with special needs

At UAB we understand the educational needs of students with disabilities and the importance of integrating into University. That is why we offer adaptation programmes and services which respond to these specific needs. Since the 2005/06 academic year students
in possession of a Certificate of Disability, issued or accredited by the Catalan Institute for Assistance and Social Services, do not pay enrolment fees for four-year degrees, EHEA degrees and official master's degrees according to the laws currently in force in Catalonia.

 UAB Association for the Disabled

UAB Association for the Disabled

This non-profit making association mainly works on the Bellaterra campus. Most of its members have some form of disability, but anyone can join the association.
We have two main goals:
1. Make the university community aware of our cause
2. Get rid of all architectural barriers by revising the plans, bringing the university's urban layout in line with regulations currently in place.
