The SAS provides students with the following specific services:
Vaccinations:if your studies are experimental, you must be correctly vaccinated against lockjaw, hepatitis etc. You can check whether you are correctly vaccinated by bringing your vaccination card to the SAS.
Student insurance cover:compulsory for all students under 28 years of age studying in a university in Spain, whatever their nationality. Either the UAB or the student insurance policy covers the costs of all the services except those provided by the Gynaecology Unit, the Sports Medicine Unit and the Dentistry Unit, for which students are given subsidised rates, which vary according to the service provided.
Students with collaboration grants and doctoral students: these may benefit from all the services provided by the SAS, under the same conditions as teaching staff and Administration and Services Staff (PAS), except for medical checkups, for which the SAS should be contacted in each case.
